The log is a measure of volume equated to the mina, a weigh measure corresponding to 1/60 of a talent. In the sexagesimal (based on the number 60) system common in Babylon, a mina was worth 60 shekels. Four log make a kab (from the Greek καβ), six of which make a se’ah.
