Anshei Knesset HaGedolah

אַנְשֵׁי כְּנֶסֶת הַגְּדוֹלָה – the Great Assembly, or Men of the Great Assembly, which was formed in later Biblical times. Members include elders and prophets, and most notably its founder, Ezra the Scribe. A rabbinical court is also known as beit din, so the Anshei Knesset haGedolah is often known as Ezra’s Court of Law.
