Avraham Chaim Na’e

A leading 20th century halakhic authority. Born in Hebron in 1890, he fled Ottoman Turkey at the outset of WWI, settling in Alexandria where he founded a Lubabvitcher . His Shiurei Torah was a book of biblical measurements converted into contemporary measurements, a work of significance in modern-day application of Jewish law. Rabbi Na’e died in Israel in 1954.
