שְׁלוֹמְצִיּוֹן אלכסנדרה – Queen of Judea at the death of her second husband, Alexander Yannai, in 76 BCE. The kingdom prospered under her rule and she re-established the Sanhedrin. Salome Alexandra ruled until her own death in 67 BCE, aged 74, and was succeeded by her son, Hyrcanus II.
