Tiferet Ya’akov

Rabbi Ya’akov Gesundheit, chief rabbi of Warsaw, b. 1815, d. 1879. He is often referred to by the name of his most famous work, the Tiferet Ya’akov, which began as a commentary to the Sulḥan Aruk, later finished a treatise on Massekhet Gittin and Massekhet Ḥullin.
